There are few investments that produce the rate of return offered by investing in students. Today’s students are our future leaders. Investing in their education impacts us all. It collectively improves our quality of life. Each student receiving the gift of higher education, returns that gift many fold to countless others throughout their lifetime.
Please help us provide a priceless education to worthy students.
Scholarships
Scholarships are the lifeblood of educational dreams. Gifts for scholarships help worthy students by covering tuition and fees related to their academic endeavors. They can vary in size to cover full or partial tuition for in-state, out-of-state, or even international students. Support can be targeted based on merit and/or need. It can also be focused on new (freshmen or transfer) students, upper class (juniors or seniors) students or graduate students. Scholarships may be directed to specific majors, colleges or departments, or for the greatest need.
Operating Scholarships – These gifts are used to support students during the next available scholarship awarding cycle.
Named Scholarships – We are able to name scholarships after a donor or loved one, if the donor is able to commit to a $1,000 gift minimum and make a at least a five year commitment.
Named Endowed Scholarships – Named scholarship endowments may be created with a minimum gift of $50,000. The gift is placed into an endowment account. Interest earned on that endowment is used to support worthy students in perpetuity.
Student Support
A variety of other student educational needs may be addressed through gifts for general student support. Such gifts help students purchase books, equipment, supplies, and other educational materials, or cover expenses related to research or educational trips. Conferences, academic or professional association memberships, study abroad programs and similar learning experiences can also be supported through private gifts.
Student Support Endowment – A minimum gift of $25,000 will create an endowment for student support. Gifts below that minimum may be used for providing student support during the current or next academic semester.
