Editorial Services manages and develops the editorial content
of a variety of print and electronic media (web, video) produced
by the
University, including the
- FIU
Magazine (produced quarterly and distributed
to alumni and faculty/staff)
- FIU Weekly News (weekly employee e-newsletter);
- NOW@FIU (monthly alumni e-newsletter);
- Home page and upper levels of the University web site;
- Institutional and unit print advertising; and
- Radio and television commercials
These media inform key publics, including alumni, donors, public officials, students, faculty and staff. The office is responsible for the editorial content of many of the University's key institutional publications-including recruitment brochures and annual reports for the president and Sponsored Research and Training-as well as documents that present the latest facts and overviews on the institution. The office also provides other editorial, marketing and public relations services for a wide range of units throughout the University.
